Description
This rocky point on Lake Superior, near the Lower Harbor of Marquette, Michigan, has had various iterations of a light station since 1853.
The current building has been in place since 1866 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
The light is still an active navigation aid and the building now also house the Marquette Maritime Museum, recording the rich maritime history of the area.
