Description
Many miles, many mounds of dirt and it still performs, as needed, for odds and ends duty at the Santa Fe Skies RV Park in Santa Fe NM.
The Holt and Best companies merged in 1925 to form the Caterpillar Tractor Co., and registered the first logo with the U.S. Patent Office that same year. If you get the feeling it’s crawling like a caterpillar, you’re right. The mark was a literal representation of the name, which was derived from the way Benjamin Holt’s steam tractors moved on their tracks.
This logo was used from 1925 until approximately 1932.

Once again, thank you to the buyer in Santa Fe for your repeated purchase of this classic. Still there and still runs, due to meticulous maintenance.

Thank you to the buyer in Santa Fe for your purchase of this classic machine. As they say, they don't make them like this anymore. This one evidently has a good caregiver.
