Description
The Ishpeming, Michigan Carnegie Public Library has a rich history of providing library services to the community dating back to the 1870s. The current building located in downtown Ishpeming was built in 1904 with funding from Andrew Carnegie.
Local author, John Voelker, was a life-long patron of the library and it was because of his book, "Anatomy of a Murder" that the Ishpeming Library was involved in the film adaptation of his book, starring Jimmy Stewart.

Thank you to the purchaser of this image from Grand Rapids MI. It's a special sale for me, as I spent a lot of my youth in this building looking at the wonders of the world in Arizona Highways and National Geographic magazines. Probably where my love for photography was nourished. Thank you, again.

I am wondering if this print is available in black and white. Thank you.
Paul LeSage replied:
Sarah, thank you for your inquiry. There is now a black and white version available.
